Winneganfake's Bizarre Holiday Bazaar!

All right, time to get this ball rolling.

In an effort to give people an option other than going to big-box, corporate owned stores for their Giftmas/X-mas/Festivus/Krampusnacht holiday shopping, I'm opening up this journal entry as advertising space- if you're an artist/artisan of some kind, please, feel free to pimp your stuff here

Shoppers! Come check stuff out- and even if you don't see anything you want to grab- check back in throughout the week as more people post- and possibly help spread the word about this in general- the more people know about this, the better it'll work.

Artists/Artisans- I'll also be posting versions of this on DeviantArt and Tumblr, not to mention featuring both this entry and some of the people that post on here over on twitter, G+ and Facebook. That gets word of your stuff out to potentially 1500 people, possibly even more.

Now let's get started- I'll be posting up my own business as an example in the first comment, and because I've had to enforce stuff like this in the past, there's a few simple guidelines I'd like everyone to keep in mind.

1- This is not your ebay. Nor is it your garage sale. Please either be a legitimate artist or artisan trying to sell your handiwork, or be representing one. Do not come in here trying to resell a bunch of mass-produced crap or clean out your garage.

2- Pictures. We loves them, because they let us all see your work and know how awesome it is. Have a care for people's bandwidth, though- no more than ten images at the most, and keep them all under 400x400, please.

3- You get ONE comment in which to post your stuff. Make it count. You can comment all you want to reply to people about stuff, react to other people's cool entries, etc, but only ONE comment for directly posting your stuff in.

4- If you advertise in here, please, spread the word about it- you can even steal the nifty banner from the top of the post to do so.

Beyond that, go nuts! And remember, again, please help spread the word!

Hi there- I'm Dmitri, and I run Tormented Artifacts I actually make a pretty wide range of stuff for sale, so let me cover some basics:

First and foremost, I do leathercrafting- both in the form of masks, and also a bunch of different leather accessories. Here's some samples (just click on any of the pictures to go get a larger view):

Hiya :) I'm Lupa! I make stuff outta dead stuff! Specifically, I make ritual tools, sacred garments, jewelry, and other art out of hides, bones, beads and other such things, and I write nonfiction pagan/shamanic/etc. books which end up on dead trees (as well as pixels if you prefer ebooks!)

Here are a few pics of recent artwork:

And here are my current books!

So here's where you can find me:

Hello; I'm Amyla, and I run Amyla's Designs on Zazzle. It has a rapidly growing number of fully original art designs emblazoned on a variety of merchandise (tee shirts, coffee mugs, and mousepads being the staples).

Here are a few of the designs for sale:

I also regularly host events such as Free Sketch Day and prize drawings for custom art on my Live Journal, and offer original artwork by commission or crowdfunding. Come by and say hi, add or follow-- I love making new friends!

I have an Etsy shop that has my own original metalworks, including Celtic totem animal designs: http://www.etsy.com/shop/AFMetalsmith?section_id=5380460

I have ravens, owls, bears, wolves, stags, and cats listed, as well as many other jewelry pieces.

I also make individually-made wedding and commitment rings, many based on mathematical principles such as Mobius and Borromean rings: http://www.afmetalsmith.com/contents/details/mathScienceRings.html

I can personally testify to the awesomeness of this metalwork. The designs are gorgeous and the pieces very well made.

Yo! I sell an assorted mishmash of adorable animal shape things!
On my Etsy we sell fake animal tails, paw gloves, plush, Pathtags (metal charms) and more. Keep in mind the custom work isn't guaranteed to be done for Christmas, premades are your best bet!

I just started uploading T-shirt designs to RedBubble! Right now I have two otters and a red panda, soon to be two red pandas, then later some other animals.

Hi, I'm Nevenah, and I'm primarily an etched glass artist working in New Orleans. I also make a little jewelry and some origami ornaments for the holidays.

I have two sites for my work; jewelry and ornaments on etsy:
http://www.etsy.com/shop/Nevenah (for some reason, I couldn't get the pictures to embed in the comment)

And etched glass work at http://nevenah.weebly.com/shop.html.

Thanks!

I'm Victoria, of Designs by Victoria. I do wire wrapped jewelry, mostly in sterling silver, although I've branched out a bit to copper and brass in the last few years. I also refurbish vintage umbrellas into fabulous parasols. My creations are available in my Artfire shop.

Here's a few examples of my work:

Thank you! It's rare to find ones of that age where the fabric is still intact enough to rescue.
